LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. James was awarded two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James scored more points during the playoffs. He has the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. He was also selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He's played in 10 NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and 2018. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the first NBA player to reach 10,000 career points. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a future NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established his name quickly as one the top players in the league. winning the NBA MVP awards in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. In the end, he failed to capture a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to join Miami Heat.
